Painted
at the magic hour,
when the sunset gave the onions a golden look, Emilio took
them from a field, drank good wine surrounded by nature, and
drove towards the sunset with the antique BMW motorbike with
a sidecar he had restored.
Emilio returned to his studio,
laid everything on the table and,
painted it in the special expressive technique he had at that
time.

Three months after the artist Emilio Mogilner was attacked by an assassin, suffering from phantom pains, he watched on TV the heart rending 9/11 events.
He then painted a series of bulls and made an Exhibition about the tragic events. |

In 1999 Emilio donated 90 paintings on wood especially created to give some life to the grey complex of the Kaplan hospital, Israel .
The exhibition was seen by more than 1,000,000 people so far.
